Soprano Ashley Gonzales & pianist Daniel Nguyen team up for an evening of art songs about love by Debussy, Handel & Fauré alongside bold solo piano pieces by Beethoven, Prokofiev & Chopin.

Ashley Gonzales is currently a studying voice & piano at Capilano University. She has sung with the world renowned Saint Patrick’s Chamber Choir and travelled to Montreal and New York for performances, getting the opportunity to sing in the world famous Carnegie Hall. Among placing in numerous standings in a handful competitions, her most recent standing is second place in the 2016 Capilano University Scholarship Competition.

Canadian pianist Daniel Nguyen is an upcoming performer and teacher. Daniel has earned his ARCT in piano performance and his LCBM in piano performance. He has studied under Quyen Dao, Tony Meyers, Jan Baxendale, and is currently studying under Dr. Rudy Rozanski at Capilano University. Daniel has also completed his RCM Piano Pedagogy Diploma with Rita Attrot.
