Storytelling & Theatre

Join us for live theatre from some of B.C.'s most talented playwrights, performers and storytellers.

    • Sunday, April 07, 2024
    • 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
    • Silk Purse Arts Centre, 1570 Argyle Ave.

Experience the magic of live storytelling, the oldest form of the arts.

Join longtime professional & emerging tellers for a Cric?-Crac! of fabulous stories around the hearth....from epic world tales to personal narratives, poetry, music, & an Ex Tempore story circle.

Cric? Crac! happens the first Sunday of the month based around a unique theme each session. April is Saved by a Poem.

To celebrate National Poetry Month enjoy poems, songs & stories with professional tellers Patricia Smith, Linda Lawson & Mike Diaconu, as well as music by Iqbal Ishani. Emerging tellers - that includes everyone -  will have a chance to share a poem in the Ex Tempore circle following the reception of chai & treats.

Presented with the North Shore Tellers since 2000.

    Admission by donation.
