Patterns of Our Land: Landscape Paintings by Tatjana Mirkov-Popovicki

  • Tuesday, September 04, 2018
  • Sunday, September 23, 2018
  • Silk Purse Arts Centre

Prolific painter Tatjana Mirkov-Popovicki draws inspiration for her work by immersing herself in nature; mountain climbing, hiking & beach combing. Her acrylic paintings capture the awe-inspiring scenes found in the wilderness of BC & Alberta. On her work Mirkov-Popovicki says "Every color, shape, and pattern found in nature is a gift and a reminder to preserve the world’s natural treasures. I collect these gifts and put them on the stage in my paintings, as my offering to the lovers of land and art."

Opening Reception Tuesday September 4,  6-8pm.
Everyone welcome!
