Mixed media artist Annette Nieukerk delivers a behind-the-scenes look at her artistic process & inspirations behind her series of paintings In Praise of Older Women. Learn how she creates the intricate layers of walnut drawing ink, graphite & oil paint on translucent mylar to capture the beauty, stories & strength of her subjects with a slideshow & Q & A.
Nieukerk's work is on display in the exhibition Females, Florals & Felines, in the gallery from Jan. 22 - Feb 10.
