Four North Shore painters play with light, colour & shape while depicting the land around us in their individual styles.

Watercolourist Hans Gray experiments with exaggerated colours & fluid, semi abstract approaches when capturing local landscapes, often en plein air.

Using vibrant acrylics, Marguerite Mahy simplifies shapes in nature to create organic forms & a sense of rhythm & balance in her paintings.

Carrie Mishima employs layers of translucent watercolours to explore how light dances off local waters, casting shadows & reflections on the shoreline.

Oil painter Riitta Perione is inspired by the Westcoast waterways & shorelines, rendering their expanse in dramatic colours & lighting.
