Acclaimed Toronto based musicians, violinist Véronique Mathieu & pianist Stephanie Chua, present a dynamic program of expressive works by female-identifying composers such as Isabella Leonarda, Florence Price, Pauline Viardot & Louise Farrenc.

This dazzling duo, celebrated for their dramatic sense of expression, balance & poise, aims to not only entertain & move audiences but to also re-examine, rediscover, & promote the music of unsung composers.

Featuring a repertoire spanning 350 years, this chamber recital will shed light on the social & cultural constructs of gender by highlighting women composers working throughout the periods of Western Classical music, from the Baroque to present day.

To provide comfortable & conscientious distancing between audience members, the musicians will perform the concert twice with reduced seating at 10:30 am & 1:30 pm.

Tickets can be purchased in advance. Limited tickets available at the door.

Concert attendees are recommended to wear a mask.
