VOLUNTEER and EVENTS COORDINATOR

Job Description:
This position is ideal for someone who loves engaging with people, believes in lifelong growth and feels called to support others through meaningful connection.
The West Vancouver Community Arts Council ’s lifeblood is its volunteers. The mission statement of the WVCAC is to serve the community, and providing the opportunity to volunteer is one of the primary ways in which it achieves this goal. In return, volunteers provide a crucial service to the WVCAC. The volunteers are extremely involved: they process all sales and act as ambassadors for the organization in both in-person interactions and as the first line of contact over the phone.
The Volunteer and Events Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the volunteer program, from recruitment to training and scheduling.
They will also assist with the delivery of arts events including attendee registration, set up and revenue reporting. The position involves customer relations such as processing sales, answering the phone and welcoming visitors/event attendees.
