Idris Hudson

Connie O'Connor

Claudia Wiebe

Idris Hudson, Connie O'Connor & Claudia Wiebe create expressive & interpretive abstract art inviting the viewer to explore how visual art affects one's point of view & connect with their inner self on a deep & intimate level.

Idris Hudson is a multi-sensory artist of Stó:lō & Cheam decent, specializing in olfactory & mixed media art. Hudson's paintings combine various techniques & media in multiple layers of flow-motion acrylic pouring, laser cut wood & acrylic inlay components & textured metallic epoxy resin. Hudson's work brings together disparate elements into unified expressions of our unconditional love to our immediate surroundings - the environment, community & ourselves.

Connie O'Connor is a painter whose work has recently shifted to the abstract. O'Connor's current In Neutral series emerged from her 12 year mindful meditation practise. Working intuitively with no end goal in mind, her work combines a soothing muted palette, varied textures & gestural marks. Each work is named after a personal mantra inspired by mindfulness concepts.

Claudia Wiebe is a Vancouver based abstract artist. Her recent works are inspired by the ever-changing complexities of love & loss, joy & grief. The layers of paint created in her art are just like life, evidence of what happened, what we did, & what was done to us. It is these layers in our lives, our stories, that makes us most interesting.
