Artist's biography
Jocelyn Fisk-Schleger's minimalist aesthetic brings inner calm and clarity to both her lens-based and colour-block canvas pieces. By eliminating distractions, the essence of the subject is exposed. The spatial relationship of simple forms and distinct colours leads the viewer's focus toward balance and contrast.

Born in Montreal, Jocelyn moved to West Vancouver as a teenager where she graduated from West Vancouver Secondary School. After graduation, she returned to Montreal to attend the School of Art and Design of the Montreal Museum of Fine Art, and subsequently Concordia's Fine Arts Degree Program. After her post secondary education, she moved to Europe for eight years. She currently resides in West Vancouver where she has owned and operated a speciality graphic arts company for several years.

Her art pieces can be found in private, corporate and Municipal/Federal collections.

Such as, City of Vancouver, Scotiabank and River's Edge Development, to name a few.
